Katie Price M.A., CCC-SLP Certified Speech Language Pathologist/Owner of Rocky Mountain Speech Therapy

About Katie Price

I obtained my undergrad and master’s degree at the University of Colorado Boulder. I have been practicing speech pathology for over 18 years. I am ASHA and state certified. I currently work part time as an assistive technology specialist and also run my private practice. I’m passionate about helping children and families. I continue to love learning and stay on the edge of intervention techniques and research.

My goal is to provide speech/language therapy to children with communication needs based on family communication and priorities.

I believe that communication between families, schools, and the home therapist is essential when providing speech/language therapy.

My approach to speech/language therapy is to work and communicate with families and use the families’ priorities to evaluate and develop a comprehensive treatment plan to meet the needs of the child. I feel that each child brings unique skills and my goal is to help support and increase their communication skills.

I have specialized training with AAC and communication devices, Selective Mutism, stuttering, PROMPT for speech articulation, and working with children with complex communication needs.
