Meet Katie
Katie Price, M.A., CCC-SLP, BCS-AAC
Twenty-one years of practice, a master's from CU Boulder, and one of a small number of board-certified AAC specialists in the country. Katie serves on the Cherry Creek School District's AAC/AT team and brings that same depth to every family she works with.
Warm, unhurried, and relentless about making sure a child is understood — competence and heart at the same time.

Katie has worked with my son for several years, and her impact on his communication has been incredible. Under her guidance, he has made huge strides with his AAC device and has started mimicking new sounds he never attempted before. She's also supported him in building a range of ways to communicate from sign language to his AAC device to emerging verbal sounds, meeting him where he is and expanding his toolkit at every step. Do I need a referral to start?
No referral is required. You can email or call Katie directly, and she is currently accepting new clients.
Where do sessions take place?
In your child's natural environment — home, school, or a community setting — or via teletherapy. There is no clinic to travel to.
What ages does Katie work with?
Children from birth through age 21.
Do you take insurance?
The practice is in-network with Colorado Medicaid. Private pay is welcome, and out-of-network billing may be possible with other plans, which can carry additional cost.
